VT/Virginia - Only play of the Day!

Well boys tonight I come with just one game from the ACC. For what it is worth I really like this game and love the fact that I am getting even money to have VT win outright against a team that only has a total of 8 wins on the season. Add that to the fact Virginia is coming off a hard fought and emotional overtime win over Clemson.

Virginia Tech will come prepared tonight and the reason I say this is if you look at their tournament resume the only win that sticks out is the upset win at #1 Wake Forest. Now many thought last year they should have been in the tournament and they were snubbed. VT sat in this exact position last season as they did beat UNC but failed to win the games they should win. Coach Seth Greenberg has to be preaching the importance of a game like this because they can ill afford to drop to 6-5 in the conference as they lack in key wins for the whole season. Dropping this game would put a huge hurt on their chances as they would have then dropped back to back games against Maryland and Virginia. Not to mention it doesn't get any easier for VT as they will finish their season with FSU, Clemson, UNC, and Duke. This is a must win if you ask me because they will be going against the top of the ACC to finish the season.

I think VT bounces back tonight off the Maryland embarrassement and catches a young Virginia team sleep walking after the biggest win of their season. I wouldn't be suprised to see VT route the Cavaliers tonight.

well said, that is exactly how I see the game going as well...too much at stake for VT and UVA got thier one big win..they are happy with that.

Don't worry MrMonkey, I am very confident in this play. I don't mess around when it comes to ACC plays, I am well over 60% within this conference. Lets hope this is 60% side and not on the 40% side, ha ha. But I really do think VT will win this going away

if there is a negative it is that Allen has been suspended for this game. But I don't think it will make that much of a difference as VT has some depth and is a veteran team

Wow, you are putting me on the spot here casey. Let me just tell you this, at no point do I or ever will tell someone that it is a for sure winner. I don't believe in saying that because it isn't true. But I will say this, you are getting, in my opinion, a solid VT squad coming off a bad loss into a game they pretty much have to win against a Virginia team that isn't that good coming off a huge emotional win against Clemson in overtime. Now you are getting even money for VT just to win this game, they don't have to cover any points, they just have to win. I believe it is the best bet of the day. I have 3 different books, I am down to 199 in my diamond sportsbook account and all of it went on this game, if that answers your question. Doesn't mean it is a for gone conclusion that they are going to win just means I think VT would win this game 9 out of 10 times if they played in these circumstances.

not having allen was big last night and the fact that delaney couldnt hit an open jump shot to save his life hurt as well. Unde..NC over vs MD in CP Sat at 330...make it all back and then some. Over should be around 164..they will hit 180 in this game. Terps wont change their style of bball, they are done so it will be a run and gun game.
