How about msu-22.5? I'm not sure Michigan st won't just run them out of the building. Harris and Appling will have big games and dawson an Payne will just be too much for anyone on Columbia's team. Michigan is simply way too fast and way too good for Columbia to hang around in my opinion. Thoughts?

This will be a shackling. Top to bottom, front to back. Columbia can't/won't keep up. I'm all over -22.5

LT, whats your angle on UL Lafayette? I'm a season ticket holder for the hogs and I'm pretty certain we will dominate this game start to finish. I did a writeup of my opinions in LKid's thread so I won't do it here too. But ya'll are both on Lafayette and I'm wondering what you guys see in this one?

I think ULL can score on anyone this year and this is their chance to prove it. Payton and Long might be the two best players on the court in this game. Arkansas defense feeds off of turnovers and Cajuns don't turn the ball over much. I see no reason why ULL can't hang within single-digits all game.

I respect you guys and your picks so I'm not thrilled to see ya'll on ULL...mostly cause I don't wanna see us in a close one from a fans perspective.
How is their depth? If they are deep I would be more concerned. Most of the time in Bud Walton, teams will hang around the first 12 mins and then give up a run in the final 8mins of each half because they get gassed and/or in foul trouble. That's just the pattern that Nolan Richardson instilled and Mike Anderson continues. We're a different team on the road but at Bud Walton we just turn it on. Absolutely shit stomped Florida and Kentucky there last year.
The teams that give the Hogs trouble are not guard heavy, slashing teams. Which is what I see the Cajuns style as. Usually big physical teams are the types to give us trouble, the Miss St's and Alabama type teams. Small, fast teams usually play right into our hands. The ULL pg looks like a legit player. But I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't have a tough night tonight, Fred Gulley is an elite defender and Kikko Haydar is a pest on D.
The hogs should be up by 10 at half and finish 15-20pts ahead. Something like 95-77. But I'm a homer! BOL on your bets
