-I lean for Stanford to cover for 2 main reasons: I think they have a huge advantage in the frontcourt and have more quality depth. I give the edge to BYU in the backcourt, but I don't think the discrepancy is a large as some think. Tyler Haws is an absolute stud and will get his points and should be the best player on the court, but Randle is no slouch either. BYU will not have Brandon Davies to create shots working inside-out for them from deep, so the question will be can they drive well enough against this Stanford defense to create shots. If it is a sign at all, BYU hasn't shot well from 3pt land in their exhibition or against Weber State. I think the difference is in the paint, where Dwight Powell should be able to have his way in this game. That coupled with having a deeper bench should give Stanford enough to cover this evening.
