Xavier Thames happened. SDSU went on a 15-0 run, 8 of it was Thames. Boise State's defense was a little vulnerable to perimeter shots, and SDSU started abusing that and nailing them down. SDSU started pressing, and Boise was overwhelmed by it for whatever reason. I don't have game tape either, so this isn't definitively what happened. This is just my recollection of how it went down.

i just realized this past week that larry brown was their coach. no wonder they play such good defense.
cincy seems to always play close games, so the ML may be the difference in this one. likely not the easy winner k. state was..

Yeah Larry Brown doing great things for that program. I give him credit for coaching at a place like SMU when he could easily be getting the big bucks at a big time school.
