It has NOTHING to do with books figuring this system out. It has EVERYTHING to do with lines getting sharper as the season wears on, and the linesmakers know what to expect out of teams. Or should I say the software they have projecting the lines gets better as they have more game results to feed into the system.

In addition, teams improve as well, so those bottom dwellers from the beginning of the season start playing tougher as they find the right combinations on the floor or as young players adjust to the college game.

i'm not sure how this is relevant , all you need to look at is that they are 31-9 overall, so at the 40 play mark they are hitting 77.5%.
