if KG plays (which he should) this might be the biggest wager i make on the nba this year. the lakers will be playing on a back to back from toronto to boston facing a rested celtics team. la will also be on their 3rd game in 4 nights. revenge angle at work here for a boston team that lost at staples earlier in the year. boston is 4-0 ats the last 4 meetings in boston, winning by an avg margin of 17ppg. celts should be laying about 5.5 in this one.

Anyone following the USC @ UCLA game scheduled for 1030 EST?

UCLA ranked 8th in the country and playing home to USC ranked 27th.

UCLA averages 76.1 per game and gives up 60.5
USC averages 69.3 per game and gives up 61.6

Not sure if the rivalry is at heated as it is in football. But I'm sure the cheerleaders are VERY HOT!

1) to try and find value in a line (ie, i did feel strongly that 5.5 was about the right number - so if this line came out at 4, i would have viewed the game as a *value* play and try to jump on the 4 asap.
2) to see if i have a good read on the game.

no rankings - just a pure *feel* line based on looking at nba lines for 18 years, and watching the nba ticket almost every night. i play fantasy sports, so i really know players/teams inside-out. same for baseball-football.

but yeah, 3 pts for home court is always in the back of my mind. 1-2 pts when a team is on back to back.

johnnyP, I think I'm rolling with ucla. They beat usc at usc earlier this year by 4, now they are at home. I may also tease the game with golden state, give gsw some extra points, and take some off those points away from ucla
