List your final 8 for the NCAA tourney as of today if you would please. Obviously w/out brackets we cannot say for sure so basically who would you select as the best 8 teams ready for tourney play if we started the madness tomorrow?

Looking over the top 25, 70% of the ranked teams are EAST of the Mississippi.

Now these are obviously not the eight best teams in the country right now, but I feel they are all capable of deeps runs. I think Louisville has the best value to win it all.

Memphis is going to have to have an easy bracket to get back to the Elite 8 for the 4th straight year. They have an outstanding D but can't shoot worth a crap. Good news is that we have the best recruiting class coming in next year. Word around here is if we pick up that big guy from Texas then Coach Cal will have to cut 3 scholarship players!!

Ucla- newlyrecruited freshman players has yet to blossom, this team still has some good unknowns.

Illinois-strong inside game and improved point guard play this year

UNLV-Going to surprised some team in the field of 64 this year

well if you're going by the best teams in the country then the west does blow. Gonzaga and UCLA is about it for the west. Arizona State might shock somebody. The east is loaded this year though.

I'd have to take these to make it to the end...Just don't feel like the Pac-10 will get anyone there...UCLA has a shot but I don't think they're better than any of these teams...In fact I feel Washington will make it further than UCLA... I also Feel Clemson's Defensive intensity heart and hustle will show in the tourney...Its all about matchups though of course!

I like those 6 teams, but I'm not sure after that. I think the west coast teams are all pretty even and I think 1 will probably get in (Arizona State, Washington, UCLA, Gonzaga). Duke might sneak into the Sweet 16, but I think Xavier and Butler should have decently easy roads to the Sweet 16 and I think 1 of those will get there too

The problem right now is the injury to Williams and the fact that Clark has regressed since last March. Clark will come alive again in the NCAA's because of how tight the games are called. He just can't handle physical play IMO. Unless Louisville faces somebody with a solid big man in the 2nd round, Louisville should roll on to the Sweet 16. I've still got a lot of faith in them with Rick Pitino at the helm

Nobody has mentioned Kansas. They are playing as good as anyone. And check out LSU, a lot of seniors that played in final four a couple years back. They've got shooters, are very tall, and play well on the road. It wouldn't be a shocker but they should be given consideration for final 8.

Honestly, I dont know. The first 5 were simple but its impossible after that. Oklahoma isnt for real IMO, Kansas may even be the better team. Michigan State is a tad overrated as well.

TPowell my friend it is great to see you mentioned Niagara as a sleeper. This team is good and I work there. Hope we can pull it out and make the tourney. As for people saying Duke to the elite 8, c'mon people. I love Duke but i don't see them winning 2 or 3 games in the tourney. They just don't have the talent. I hope but doubt.
