    Perdue is 0-3
Purdue is 0-3 against teams in the top 25 in RPI. Wisconsin is ranked 23rd in RPI. Is this actually an important stat?

Does this trouble any Purdue backers?

Purdue is still the much better team, the invincibility of the Kohl Center is over. Plus, Purdue has beat them 3 straight

I am a Wisconsin fan and I am on Purdue tonight. Etuan and Robbie H will be too much for this plodding team. Its just not a good matchup for Wisky, IMHO.

Ive made money and lost money on both teams this season. I also locked in Purdue +1, so nothing is going to change my mind now.

But on a serious note, Why should this scare me now? Purdue beat Wisconsin by 13 already, grant it it was at home. Looking at the 3 losses against top 25 teams, looks like it was vs. Duke and Oklahoma, for sure 2 better teams than them. I could see if they were 0-3 against teams that were not better than them, but come on, Duke and Oklahoma these two are top 4 teams.

You have to consider Purdue had an 18-6 advantage in free throw opportunities and the fact that this is a must win for Wisconsin. I'm leaning towards Wisconsin personally.

Wisconsin better find a way to the chartity strike then tonight.

Purdue has not allowed any team all year to shoot better than 42.9% form the field and on average hold opponents to 35.6% shooting and they have the better offensive weapons as well....Wisc allows 43% shooting on average, not very impressive considering their reputation....I do believe Wisc will control the tempo, keep it slow, but Purdue hits a couple more shots and win a close one.

This is where the RPI numbers get really interesting. Purdue is ranked 69th in strength of schedule and Wisconsin is ranked 2nd in strength of schedule. You're not comparing apples and apples here at all. It's more comparing apples and cucumbers or something.

RPI is crap, Pomeroy Ratings are much more meaningful. That said, Purdue is 0-3 vs. the Pomeroy Top 25 too, and the highest rated Pomeroy team they have beaten is Davidson (35). Still, Pomeroy only rates Wisconsin 41, and the projected score for tonight is Purdue 63, Wisconsin 61.

I understand this..but they have played six straight Big Ten games and only Illinois shot over 40%...Wisc has played six straight Big Ten games and four have shot 43.6% or higher..Purdue played an easier schedule early but that doesn't matter now...for the past four weeks conf schedule only for both..thats what I'm looking at...

Purdue Hands down , take advantage of the line now

"After losing their first two Big Ten games, the Boilermakers have won four in a row, beginning the streak on Jan. 11 with a 65-52 victory against Wisconsin in Mackey Arena."
