Maryland v Alabama

Yea Maryland one of the worst teams around on the road. Won 3 games on the road all year. Then they lose their spark plug point guard at the end of last game for the year. Will be a 1-3 possession game I think still. I like Bama to win, but it should be close.

Releford is a big matchup problem for the Terps. If they try to press him, that will be a mistake. The loss of Allen is big because he is the only one beside Wells who can actually break down the D and kick out to a wide open shooter. I like Bama here to win by 9ish.

I like Bama and lean them but they have no one to guard Wells. What I do think is since Allan is out they can bracket guard him and give help. That's not good for the terps

No I'm not telling you that by any means, what I am telling you is this freshman point guard was a major spark plug down the stretch and in tournament play. He was solid, very solid. Now he's out and they have to adjust, on the road, where they have been one of the worst teams in the nation. They're playing a team that was 16-3 at home and who has played very solid as of late. Bama is a very tough place to play even when they're terrible.
