I have been taking some shots at some second half bets lately. I am 4-0 when betting the under on any second half total over 72. When i do a quick glance over the box scores from a full slate of games, I see very few games where more than 70 pts are scored in the second half. This seems to be especially true if a game is close or had a lot of meaning because they defensive intensity picks up.
Anyone else noticing this? I knew that someone got really wealthy betting the second half overs a few years back because the late game fouling was not taken into account in the spreads but it almost feels a little backwards now.
