I'm going to roll w/ La Tech + 5 2x and ml 1x.

As you all know betting the NIT is all about trying to figure out who us motivated. Fsu needs to play outstanding defense to be a good team and my guess is Coach Hamiltion doesn't get those kids up tonight. Defense is all about effort and not sure they want this game as much as La tech.

Even if FSU does play hard La Tech is still good enough to compete. They are still a little guy playing a big name which is much easier to get motivated for.

Not sure why LA Tech would be motivated to show up though? People were talking about being the best team LA Tech has had since the Karl Malone days, sitting at 26-3. Then they get blasted twice in a row on the road, and bow out of the WAC tourny to a 3-14 squad.

Something tells me they are just playing out the string too. Tough game to cap.

LaTech alum here: my Dawgs have had some major ups and downs this season. Winning 18 games in a row was awesome, but I think we simply peaked too early, playing mediocre competition. I hate to say it, but we probably weren't the 25th best team in the country when we were ranked. I don't see any way we win AT Tallahassee tonight. According to what I read on my Tech site, they were on the road out west for a long time, then only had 24 hours before they turned around to head east to FL. FSU has played tougher competition all year. Noles1992, I am honestly leaning Under 142.5 in this game as well.

If you guys watch line movement. FSU is down to -4 and since its going to be televised this should be an auto play on LaTech assuming this line closes at 4 or lower and majority on FSU

I know its not absolutely accurate but if you check the percentages(based on number of tickets not actual cash on each team) on vegasinsider about 15-30 minutes before game time it tends to get fairly accurate. Early on it tends to fluctuate heavily.

Read in the local reports, about FSU players being down after missing out on Big Dance. I have the game lined at -3 FSU so you are getting line value as well. On MTSU as well, BOL with your plays.

LA Tech is so overrated. The players who want to play tonight for FSU will be on the court playing their asses off. If the coach sees a lackluster effort, they'll sit. Seminoles by 10 tonight. Home game, the fans will be there. Snare puts the team on his back and drops 25 on the no-defense Bulldogs.

I remember betting LA Tech -1 @ UT-Arlington, and I was so disgusted how bad they played, and they covered by a nose hair in the final minutes. I watched them play @ Denver get blown out, and I was on Denver -9 huge and covered easily. LA Tech won their home games against horrendous competition, and played like the most mediocre team on the road. Bulldogs are a quality team no doubt, but on the road I'll never back them again. I'm way more confident with FSU here than the road team.

Nj - crazy you should mention that... I was AT the game where we played at UT-Arlington. ROUGH game to watch (I graduated from LaTech and live in Ft.Worth,TX now).

It's tough to say, but as we gamblers know, you have to take the emotion out of it sometimes. I just don't see how we win AT their place tonight. I assume you took FSU -3 or the ML at -155? Weirdest line move I've seen in a while. Can the Noles be THAT uninspired?

you really have to look at the competition they played through out the season ... florida state is obviously in a tougher division than la tech
who from the wac division... so numbers and stats are really going to be irrevelant .. florida state should easily roll here...

Nice 3.7 unit hit. Their press wore FSU out. They need to take the ball out of speedys hand in the half court sets and let the freshmen Hamilton and applebee handled it. He can't run a ball screen and dribbles to much around the perimeter. He plays excellent pressure defense though. They have potential, like their coach.
