Anyone else like Iowa St to make a run?

I have Iowa St. making a run to the Elite 8 over Ohio State. Too ambitious? I really like Iowa St to make some noise but I don't know if they have enough to be Ohio State.

Also, I have Syracuse beating Indiana and making it to the finals. Thoughts?

I think Notre Dame causes match up problems with OSU.....However, I can see Iowa State certainly beating ND if they are making their 3's. I see a couple of 2nd round matchups like this, but they need to get by tough 1st round matchups first.

Did you happen to catch the 2nd half of the Big East Championship? Syracuse looked like a scared high school team when L'ville threw on their press. I doubt 'Cuse has a run to the finals in them after seeing that performance.

I think they beat Notre Dame but probably not beyond that.

They beat LVille once this year, and came within one possession of beating them a second time. In their third matchup (the championship game) cuse blew a huge lead. I think if syracuse plays to their potential they can beat anyone in their bracket

If OSU allows 3s like against Wisky, I can see an ISU win here. I can also see ISU building a huge lead going into the half only to have Deshaun Thomas single handedly bring OSU back and win the game.

I think ND is a tougher matchup for them than Ohio St. I think if they can get past ND, then they can beat Ohio St in the 2nd round. I'm just not sure they get past ND. ND will slow the game down and own the Cyclones on the glass.

Iowa St can easily outscore Ohio St. Still can't believe Ohio St got a #2 seed, not to mention not even the last #2 seed.

Generally I always fade Notre Dame in the tournament, they play slow because their defense sucks.

That being said, its probably too much to ask for Iowa State to beat both Notre Dame *and* Ohio State in Dayton, Ohio. Throw in Indiana and its gotta be the toughest ticket of the first two rounds, tougher even than Auburn Hills, and KC.

I got ISU going to the elite 8. They def could beat ND and OSU and New Mexico. They also would give Gonzaga a run if they played them!
