UCLA is a solid team, even without Jordan Adams. Coaching comes up big in these tourney's. I trust Howland a lot more than Tubby.

i doubt i bet the gm but took minny in my 1st bracket.. think minny will be able top score on bruins and think the physical play will wear on ucla, of coarse depends how the gm is called but think minny will punish them on the glass and bruins looked bad w adams out..

The fact that Minnesota is -3 over UCLA I think says a lot. Definitely going to read the lines to help me fill out my bracket this year.

This. When an 11 seed is a -3 fave over a 6 seed, at the very least you should be wary of taking the "value" on the dog...

5 years ago id agree. None one thought ucla would get that good a seed and they just lost jordan adams. Throw in the fact everyone loves minesota it doesnt faze me that they are favored.

Both teams have the talent of a 1 or 2 seed in this tourney, but they always fail to deliver in crucial spots. Minnesota i think plays a little better as a cohesive unit. They definitely play better defense and will out rebound UCLA. Minnesota wins an ugly 60-55 game.
