Why is Southern Miss losing?

They beat Marshall 102-46 on their home court. Marshall is awful. Line dropped like crazy before the game. Who knew something none of us did?

Marshall has pretty much been hit or miss all year. They either play great or play like shit (usually the latter). They haven't played very many close games in conference though so they will probably choke down the stretch.

I realize that each game is an independent event and there's a pride factor involved, but there's no reason to lose SU to a team you've beaten by 56 goddam points earlier in the year. None. If they'd beaten them by 10 or 15 that's one thing, but come on Tyndall. Wake your kids up.

It has happened plenty of times where Team X beats Team Y by like 30 at home and then end up losing to Team Y on the road. It is Marshall's senior day so they do have something to play for.

Again, when good Marshall shows up they only lost by 1 @memphis & swept UCF. When bad Marshall shows up, they get blown out and usually mail it in at the half

So Southern Miss goes up 1, then proceeds to go into full tank mode. Taking wild three-pointers, missing free throws, turning the ball over, horrible fouls being committed....
