Detroit @ Temple (-5.5)

Any thoughts on this game tonight? The game seems somewhat meaningless as it is a make up game from the Dec 28th weather postponement. Detroit plays poor on the road (6-8). Temple has been turning things around as of late and I tend to think they will continue with that here. Both offenses are outstanding, especially Detroit's. Leaning towards taking Temple -5.5. Let me know your thoughts, thanks!

Also to note that it is "student athlete recognition night" which will add a little more momentum to the Temple side. Also, Detroit is playing it's 3rd game in the last 5 days while Temple is coming off a dominating road win in Charlotte 4 days ago. Looking at Detroit's schedule, this seems to be a terrible spot for them to travel east. Anyone have a different insight on this game?

def a shitty spot for det to have this gm right now with amount of gms they have played lately and a much more important road gm on sat to position themselves for seeding in conf tourney..that said not real interested in playing temple, i do like the ov 156, when temple plays fast pace teams they tend to get into shootouts and det gets up and down with the best of them, neither in the top 100 defensively (det d is especially bad)and both can score..i told myself id play over anything less than 160, opened really high on BOL (166 i believe) but has since came way down to where i think it worth playing..

I got temple at -5. Fran dunphy is such a good head coach and will have his guys ready to play for the fans tonight IMO. Detroit is in a terrible spot, I'm predicting a 7-9pt win for temple

certainly possible, i dont really disagree just preferred the over at that number more than a side.. here's to a 86-78 temple win

I have trouble with o/u and play home favorites a lot b/c there are a lot of outside factors relevant to the home court that have a big effect on the game.

kinda double edge sword there imo..sure maybe their jumpers arnt as good but also think it could make a really bad defense even worse,,it honestly hard to say, i could play every day when i was their age and honestly i always shot better when i was tired (obviously everyone not the same tho), but like i said if fatigue a factor there a good chance temple hangs 90..really dont think it be huge deal as im sure they stil be up for a gm against a quality team, maybe i worry a little bout if they get down they let up and save it for Sat but in the end i really didnt weigh it as a positive or a negative and just went by my number...it goping back up now, figured there be some buy back as know a few guys that got under 166.5 at open and im sure when it dropped to 156 some of them decided to middle...

this is the reason why i should stopped coming to read what ppl post on the forum. Its freaking filled with fade material... Temple sucks donkey ass. i took temple like a fool. looks like it will be my only loser on a 5 teamer.. motherfuckers.

opened at something crazy on BOL (166.5) got hammered down to 156 is where i played it and ticked back up and closed around 157/158 i think..so pretty much right in line with where i played it, goes over 2nd half ill hit and id imagine a handful of sharp cats that got in early on the under will hit the middle,,,no damn way temple shouldnt pick up their scoring against a d me you and 3 other guys could put up 75 on..

yea damn BOL and their always switching open times,,would have swooped under at that number as well,,but by time i saw already hit down to 156 felt ok on the over then as pretty much already had it capped at around 163 just missed the openers yet again..sux cause gotta figure books rather it stay under 156 or fly over the open cause guys def workng that middle...
