So i tried out the separate thread thing today on another sports betting site i post on and quickly found it to be a major inconvenience. I am going to stick to posting all my picks in one thread depending on what sport i tend to have the most picks for. Once college basketball is over i imagine i will start up a thread in the MLB forum as i imagine that is the next place that will have the most picks in.
From here on out i imagine my threads will be placed in the following places:

MLB

I had a system i used for this past college football season that worked very well, however, it was hard to implement it in basketball. I eventually came up with what i am using now which is totally different but does share one of the things i look it. That being said i am still contemplating when i should actually begin making picks for MLB. I came up with this system i am using not long ago at all, it is barely over a month old. To be perfectly honest it is still in the testing phase and will probably be in the testing phase until it shows a profit for at least two seasons in each and every sport i use it for. I am still tweaking it, trying to find flaws and seeing if i can improve them. When i started using this system it was in the middle of the NBA season, towards the end of the NCAAB season and hockey season had been going on for a couple weeks. So i do not know how well it will do diving head first into a starting season like the MLB. You can have a general idea of how good and bad certain teams will be but you never actually get a good feel for it until after a few weeks of the season. Baseball is also a completely different beast when compared to all other team sports bc of this i am very skeptical of how well it will work for it. All other team sports you have everyone on the "field" working together at the same time. In baseball the majority of the game is a one on one match up between a pitcher and batter and because of this i am not sure how well this system will work. I am not sure if i am going to try and dive right in come opening week and just cut my bets down to quarter/half units for the first couple of weeks or if i am going to wait a couple weeks to get a better picture of the league.Comment -
