Thoughts on Kentucky Tonight

Can't say I'm surprised at Kentucky being a small favorite at home but am at the fact that more Mizzou money hasn't come in. Huge game for UK and Mizzou coming off a big win so I suppose the recipe is there for the Cats but are they really the better team?

I think that says a lot. Usually when Kentucky is at home, the public is always all over them. Public might be over reacting a little to the Noel injury. I know he's key to the Cats, but we are still talking about Kentucky in Lexington, one of the hardest places to play in.

I just figured it would hit 1 or pk before getting up to as much as 3 where it was for a matter of minutes earlier today. I feel like Bowers and Oriakhi could present some problems unless Stein builds on the strong game he had Wednesday.

Exactly. All my [] (yes, that's a square) buddies are all OVER Missouri tonight. It's a no-play for me, but I couldn't help but notice the line moving like KENT is getting the money.

Thanks for the insight and yes betting against the Cats in Lexington is a tough route to go but just not sure they have enough to get it done tonight.

I'm debating whether I want to take the spread or just lay the juice down and take the ML.

That's a smart play when games have a strong chance at coming down to the wire. Had far to many head-banging moments when I had a team at -1.5 or -2 and they won by 1.

Exactly what I'm thinking. I've been getting burned by a half point or a full point a lot lately on these short spreads. Just wish I took the line earlier when it was -1.5.

Tough call not sure what ur paying ml in juice but def gives the added cushion in a nail-biter. Local does'nt offer ml but I'm pretty happy at -2 this Tiger team is horrific on the road and would'nt be surprised if UK wins comfortably by a few buckets.

Speak of the freakin' devil it almost happened just now. Had Cal -1.5, but b/c of recent experiences bought the half point. Oregon St makes a come back and Cal pushes at 1.

Yeah I got lucky, I had Oregon St +2. Can't believe they covered. That guy Joe Burton is something else. Not sure if I've ever seen a big man with his set of skills.

Yeah juice is -140 on Kentucky ML, a little too much for my liking. I try not to play anything over -130.

I don't pay attention to 1H bets much, but why is Kentucky -2.5 for the whole game and only -1 1H? Shouldn't they be -1.5 1H here?

Oh boy......Kentucky is pretty brutal in the halfcourt. I think they need to get up and down if they want to have a chance.

Kentucky is very offensively challenged. They were even when Noel was in the game. He at least gave them extra touches by rebounding. 2nd half UK under should be a good play. They don't know how to move the ball really effectively and no one can take his man off the dribble.

Which is why they need to get out and run as much as possible. They look awful in their halfcourt sets.

It looks like they don't even have a half court set... Ouch

They also are a horrible free throw shooting team. I've seen them like 7 times this year and they miss like half their shots. Unreal how Calipari always has poor free throw shooting teams. He must not practice it???
