The friars are playing as good as anybody in the Big East currently and I get them +13 in this spot? They have the PG is takes to run the offense against the orange zone. They are at the top of the league in talent and it's all starting to click.

I really don't think people understand how good Providence is playing right now, they are honestly playing as good as anybody in the BIg East. Ed Cooley is a very underrated coach, just imagine how good they be if Ledo could of make grades...

My power ranking has the game at 11, i think odds-maker are trying put premium on who they think public team will be to balance for both side, home & away record of both sides plus possible letdown for Providence but i agree the Friars are in-form.

Providence loses this game by 6-9 points. Good call l kid. I love my big east basketball it's the best in my opinion. Big east tourney at the garden is the best tournament.

The Providence vs. zone defense stats can be thrown out because nobody plays zone the same as any other team, especially Syracuse. They probably consider teams running a full court trap late in the game a zone defense as well which will help skew those numbers thanks to easy layups and intentional fouls.

I advise you to be by your computer at Halftime as well. There are a few teams I follow thru thick and thin, Providence is one of them (I live 20 min from the Dunk) I dont know the exact record against the spread for the 2H (cause I'm more so just a degenerate, and only recently started to attmept to be more seroius with my selections), but Providence ALMOST EVERY GAME plays harder in the 2nd half. I have enlightened a few people of them covering 2nd half spreads at a very high rate in the past 2 months. I wont guarantee they cover 2nd half, but I sure the hell will be betting on it tonight if they are down 5-10 going into the half. Do the research if you must tho, but take my word, they have to be as good of a 2nd half team as any in the country.
