If MSU makes its free throws, it wins the game and you aren't yapping off at the mouth right now. Period. How did Izzo get out-coached by Crean in any way shape or form?Comment -

#42You made some smart-ass comment out of nowhere that doesn't even jive with what happened in the game.
If MSU had lost because Izzo got out-coached late or they couldn't protect a huge lead because he misused timeouts or whatever, I'd buy what you're selling. Their players missed a bunch of critical free throws down the stretch and you bring up the "coaching vs. talent" argument, unprovoked? Huh?Comment -

You could either quit embarrassing yourself now, or let this self-burial continue. Your choice.Comment -

#46I'm still waiting for you to explain how this game fits your agenda, and why you felt the need to come in here and post something about it unprovoked -- especially given I was on Indiana and you were on MSU. If talent wins out in the end, why did you take the Spartans?

I have no agenda. Michigan State was one of the hottest teams in the country and at home. Indiana has trouble at the ends of games and I expected a tight game with MSU making the plays late to win it. I had no strong opinion on it but wanted to have some money riding on the biggest game of the week. Nothing to be embarrassed about but keep telling yourself that.Comment -

#47I was at that game. MSU played tough physically. Grabbed the boards and really ramped up their inside presence as the game went on, but what can I say about Indiana. They shot LIGHTS OUT, I mean, they literally could not miss behind the arc or in front of the arc. Their shooting percentage was through the roof. And MSU did not hit their free throws when it was crucial. Throw in a couple horrible turnovers and this thing was a wrap. I like Indy's odds in the big dance this year.Comment -

#48Oh no! No coin declared it a burial. Lol get over yourself man.

And if you had no strong opinion, why bet it?
Question: why do you think Indiana has trouble at the end of games? It's not a talent issue, and it's not an experience issue, so what do you think it is?Comment -

#50If you had no agenda, why post something about it calling me out (especially when it had nothing to do with how the game transpired)?

#51Yeah man, MSU should've stuck to hard nosed b-ball and drove to the hoop even more than they already did. BS 3 point attempts like that should be left to the Indiana sharp shooters that can actually pull it off. No use trying to one-up the masters at their own game. Take it to the hoop and worst case scenario draw a damn foul.
I think the perfect sequence to summarize this game was when MSU had finally cut it to 1 or 2 midway through the 2H, and Appling chucks up a 3 with no rebounders back and like 30 left on the shot clock. He then lets his man get free on the other end of the court like two seconds after IU rebounds and outlets for a wide-open 3.Comment -
