even on those really good looking days, you should never try more than 3 teams for parlays... and 4 max for teasers, at least then you can get the odds on teasers up to +200 or better. 4 teams and 5.5 to 6.5 pts is not too hard too hit if you use say 2 NBA/2NCAAB

I dont get down with teasers in Basketball at all...Things can get out of hand quickly. I do in football often tho.

I do 5+ team parlays because its like buying a scratch ticket. If I were to put 20-50 bucks up on one par, I would not choose to select more than 3 teams. Probably only 2 when I get to the higher dollar amount.

man just do 2 team parlays... you get 105 juice and you get almost 3 to 1 return! I did that last night with Kansas... parlay first half Kansas -4 and over 60... was the easiest parlay in weeks, easy spot bet. It was the perfect spot you knew Kansas would be playing at full speed and going to score 40+ easy and have a big halftime lead, it was just up to KSU to score at least 20+ pts.

trust me, tomorrow... its UNC @ Duke... the first half over and full game over for these games are almost a lock bet every year. UNC plays fast and can rebound, score and they won't be able to stop Duke @ Duke. Duke will be nailing 3's all night.

I nailed Kansas last night straight, and first half straight. I par'd 2H and over, and got squeezed by the infamous half point on the total! lol

I totally lied...lol...I went with Kent +2.5, Under 72, and Manhattan +9.5...tried going just 2, but I didnt feel greatly confident in Kentucky (even tho they usually play well in the 2nd half and cover a lot, but so does FLA obviously!) so I had to stretch it one more line for shorter money! lol...I'm such a degenerate!

I am about to cash a 2 team parlay on Denver/Toronto 1st half over 103 (typical 57 pt 2nd q to cash it)... figured people would think under since Denver has guys not playing, so I faded that idea and went with the over

... 2nd play is Portland 1st half +6.5 vs Heat... and they were up 4 pts after 1st q! Heat never care to blow people away in the first half... especially at home vs decent to good teams, they just love to win the 4th quarter lol

hoping it holds on to cash! 2 team parlays have been kind to me this week

I dont bet NBA much although I did have the Under in the C's game last night in my winning 5 teamer (even tho 85% public was on it, as I hate 85+% picks, but after a 3ot win on Sunday, I figured it was a no brainer). I would say Bold move on picking against MIA at home, but you seemed to have good reasoning and solid evidence behind it (I have played a few NBA against MIA on the road this year). Well so far, no good for me, but there is time to turn around in that UK/FLA game...would love if UK covered the game line, as that would essentially break me even at minimum on the night and maybe I can squeak out one of my parlays...Good Luck brother...

Portland built up a 10+ pt lead in the first half vs Miami... it was EASY. Miami winning the first half by 7 or more pts vs a capable Portland squad that isn't tired or anything. Miami don't care enough to play enough D to ever do it. I wonder what Portland's ML was vs Miami lol

Cashed that 2 team parlay. Now I'm thinking MSU-Michigan 1st Half over 61.5 parlayed with OKC - Jazz first quarter over.

went with over 61.5 msu game and also parlayed it with OKC 1st half over... will see if i continue to stay hot tonight lol

Why don't you buy points or roll with any MLs? You seem to be picking all these lines that are asking for too much perfection to actually ever cash... You don't gotta be greedy with -110 lines for every spot, cuz you're likely gonna shit the bed on some of them.

I'll usually start like 5 different open parlays, start them out with 2-3 picks, and then fill out the remaining spots over the next few days. And I'll space out the remaining picks so one bad bet on a team doesn't wipe out the rest AKA if I went Kentucky on one parlay, I don't add Kentucky to others...Unless of course it's a complete lock type of game. And if I'm on the last open spot, I don't get greedy trying to pick a -110 line... I pick something that I know would have to be fixed for the team to lose.

So basically what I'm saying is, stop being greedy tryna milk every penny and you'll start cashing more.

Respect the advise...and you certainly are right about the milking every penny! I cant get Open Parlays on my booksite...gotta find another site or two anyhow. Any suggestions on the best sites as far as flexibility and user advantage?

As far as online I've only used 5dimes, so I can only speak from experience there, but so far no problems. And I love that their open parlays can remain open forever....So you could be Mr. Cautious and only add one game a year for all they care. Which is especially nice if you ever go buckwild opening up 25 team parlays.

Start a 25 teamer with only 50 cents, pick good enough lines, and you're looking at a lotto ticket possibly worth like 150 grand... Sure you're likely not to hit them, but then again, it's only 50 cents lost.

Ya def limited. I always just used Betus.com...you actually cant even register anymore from my state (massachusetts)...but I had an account years ago and it still works. A few of my buddies tried creating accounts within the last couple years and couldnt...dont know if it was because of MA, or because of USA. I also registerd at Bovada, and Sportsbook.com...but depositing money is a nightmare, so I didnt even bother (cant imagine what withdrawing would be like) Hows the Depositing and Withdrawing on 5Dimes treating you? User friendly and not a pain in the ass? I'll find out soon enough, as I just registered...just looking for a little perspective on things besides parlays and such (the truly important stuff)

Once in awhile the withdrawls can be a hassle, but it just took a quick LiveChat to iron it out. As for deposits, I actually used my **** debit to start out, which probably wasn't the smartest move, but I've never had any charges besides what I deposited onto the site and the international bank fee... So I personally haven't experienced anything fishy with the site as of yet. Plus the deposits showed up like a minute after initiating it.

Well...In review...the one team parlay losses continue for me tonight! lol Kentucky royally ****** me! (actually I ****** myself by straighting them and putting them in my 5 teamer (only loss) and then in my 2H par Kentucky +2.5 (only loss)...and my other 4 teamer (VT only loss)...Lost $80 tonight...If I made straight bets for all of my selections, I would be 11-5 and if I played it safe and wagered my minimum for straights of $22, I would be up $110...if $33, up $165...if $44, up $220...and 55(my higher range althought sometimes I play 77-110), I'd be up $275...Stupid stupid stupid!!! lol Ahhh well!

for me... 2/2 so far on 2 team parlays... with a 3rd one pending on one play, other has hit.

played one 4 team parlay for $10 to add just over 1.15 units... and yeah, guess what my man... 3 of 4 plays hit, only loser was i played over 2h for kentucky game. we should have talked it over... i knew to bet Florida 2h and you knew to bet the under. my only loser on the night and it was just $10

my 3rd 2 team parlay cashed... play was golden state rockets 1st half over 111... got 113! lol.... it was my night man. even hit a half unit teaser i made for late nba games just because i was up a lot, teased lakers to -3 and the golden state game down to over 212.5..... lakers killed the 4th q and won by 6. too easy! it cashed too.

damn what a night.... i'm ready to kill the 1st half over in the UNC - Duke game tomorrow... or maybe just bet on Duke 1st half, or maybe just parlay both together and go for a big 1st half winner! don't even care what games start at 7 or early in the NBA. the NBA is never kind to me 2 days in a row... i killed it with overs tonight and the laker tease... not touching it tomorrow!
