#6Did a three team parlay tonight fellas and I agree with jinx's and sportsguy...Ivy League teams normally play each close to the vest and there's really not that much separation between them...and Dartmouth has been real scrappy lately, as has Siena, and as has Brown...I bought some insurance pts as well!...I think this card hits!...It pays 3 - 1!...I've got a bill on it!

#8I don't know Ramones...but I can tell you this much...Double digit dogs have been covering like crazy this year in college hoops....Vegas hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire unless you bet the favorite...It's just like anything else...they use their resources and put a number out there designed to get action on both sides and you either take the points or lay them!.....the NFL playoffs were a perfect example...they kept disrespecting the Ravens who got (+10.5) against Denver, (+9.5) against New England and (+3.5) against the Niners and not only covered but won straight up!...I laughed all the way to the bank while others were trying to over-analyze the spread...I could be wrong, but I read a study that said if you played straight dogs on all the games and bet even units, that you will come out ahead in the long run!..I don't know what kind of data that they used to come up this conclusion, but in all my years of gambling I found this to be somewhat true.

#10I ended up going with Dartmouth +12.5. They're a young team that got off to a bad start, but seem to be improving lately. They defend the three decently well and Columbia seems to rely on the 3 ball a good amount.Comment -

#15So why even include such a heavy favorite in a parlay? Including a -1000 favorite hardly increases the payout. The talent gap between teams like this isn't as big as you think, so why add more chances for your parlay to lose just for a minimal payout increase?
Hopefully you can get away from this strategy.Comment
