Purvis has a sprained ankle I wonder if that is why the line went up partially? Yesterday said questionable but today said probable. If he is healthy I see NC State winning. Even though he is only the 6th best player on the team NC State really is only 6 deep so a big loss if he cant go or more likely gets reinjured during the game.

Virginia will win. Best defense in the nation from a scoring standpoint and N.C. State has been average on the road this year. Mitchell and Harris are a highly underrated duo for the Cavs. C.J. Leslie is overrated as shit and the reason they lost at Wake Forest

NC State has a great offense but their defense is pure trash. Because of that I'm thinking the total will be 130. Virginia has a great defense that will make NC State rely on 3 pointers (That they do so very well anyway). This should be a close game but I think Virginia will pull off the win and the cover. I'm going to wait until everyone pound NC State and hope to get a better line

That is the way odds-maker work, the push line higher for public team who is also a favourite to ensure you take the other side thus line doesn't move much and bookies are also happy because of fairly balanced action on both sides.

I like NC State to win this game outright. A far superior scoring team, as everyone is noting, but also a far superior rebounding team. UVA is atrocious on the boards and I see NC State with a lot of second opportunities in the game. They can play from the outside-in and if Leslie doesn't get it going then their guard play will regardless if Purvis plays. NC State wins...75-62
