Going HUGE tomorrow on Colorado -6 over Cal.

Won back a little more than half my loss on Oregon State game (40u) with CSU and Davis 1st half wins. So I'm ponying up 80u on the Buffs. Remember tail at your own risk! Buffs win this by double digits...easy.

Reasoning?

1. Odds makers are still undervalueing the Buffs after they went on that slide from the Arizona heart breaker. Now is a time to get in on them while they're not laying too many points. +3 against WSU and then only -4 against Stanford? Those were gimmies and -6 to -7 against Cal? Another gimmie.

2. The Buffs are back to their early season form (pre heartbreaking Zona robbery) and they are going to go on a run, BIG TIME. Tad Boyle's teams always get better as the season progresses. The Zona setback was tough for his young team, but he has them ballin right now.

3. If you watched how they played against Stanford the other night, you would have no questions. They look like the team that won the Charleston Classic, maybe better.

Yeah Tad Boyle is 40-5 when coaching at Coors (home games). Crowd is intense at home and every game has been selling out since Tad came aboard...He called CU his dream job and he's loving it. Players love him, fans, parents, coaches across the country...everyone basically. I might sound like a homer with my Buffs, but that's not the case here. I rarely bet on my Buffs unless I see them being way undervalued. Their last two games, against Wazzo and Stanford, they were HUGE value plays for me. Took them on the ML against WSU and they handled that easy. Layed the 4 against Stanford and that game was over in the first half. I posted these plays on twitter, which is where I post mostly. You just acknowledged that a unit = 1% of your BR. You are betting 80 units, a la 80% of your BR. Otherwise, how useless is the term unit? Are you only betting $80? The whole point of units is so people can gage confidence. With you just throwing out some random number that references absolutely nothing in reality, it makes this thread worthless. Fack, I could put "800 units" on a play and say my BR was 10000 units.

It matters when you are following someone who consistently posts plays, ie. Twizzle, LKID, LT, etc. Hopefully you don't make a play based on his confidence level. You read his angle, and maybe take another look at the game, that's what you get out of this thread.

Everyone's base unit is a different % of BR.

And Colorado does look undervalued here, should be 8 or 9 point favs, but maybe its a trap, or maybe we shouldn't over think it.

Also, most ppl on here, except some of the newer folks, know my units are $100 and they know my confidence level when I put down a large unit play. 80u is one of my biggest. I've posted many 20-60u plays in the past. Check out my Gekko Thread in baseball.
