    Rosco's College Hoops
Hey guys, long time thread stalker first time poster here. Most of my betting is on NBA, but I've been making small bets on college games recently so I thought I would start a thread to post some of my picks and see if I can get some input.

Since I don't do much college betting I'm just starting with a $50 bankroll for college games. Hoping I can run it up pretty good before the NCAA tourney. So now for today's picks:

    Wyoming +2: Risk $11.00 to win $10.00
    Oregon + 5.5: Risk $11.00 to win $10.00

5 Point Teaser (4 Teams): Risk $20.00 to win $40.00
    Florida -8.5
    Belmont -10.5
    Oklahoma State -14.5
    Southern Mississippi -6.5

I just reloaded as well my friend, starting with $50! Like these plays, I'll definitely be tailing! Do you post NBA plays as well? If so it might be easier to have them in one thread, especially if you cross them with college with your basketball teasers! Good luck to us today buddy!

I just started posting here at SBR so I haven't started an NBA thread yet. Was thinking about starting one soon, if I do post them I'll probably do it in the NBA forum though just to keep my picks separate since I have a different bankroll for NBA betting.

If I do see a good spot with NBA games for finishing my college teasers though I'll add them in here.

          1/21 Picks

Rough day yesterday. UNC Greensboro really shit the bed in the second half. 2 picks for today:

Oklahoma State M/L: Risk $10.00 to win $16.00
Bethune Cookman Savannah State - Under 116: Risk $22 to win $20

          Record to date: 3-2
          Starting Bankroll: $50
          Current Bankroll: $75

Oklahoma State at Baylor I really feel like is a tossup, which makes it a good spot on the Money line. I LOVE the Savannah State play though. They're a great defensive team giving up only 56 points per game (excluding a double OT outlier), and Bethune Cookman isn't exactly at the tops of the NCAA in offensive production. They held Florida to 58 points in a game also. I just don't see this one going over the 116. I would bet a lot more on this if I wasn't trying to be responsible with my college bankroll.

BOL with your plays today everyone.

            1/22 Picks

Really wish I would have pounded the Savannah State game yesterday. Easy to say that it was a sure thing looking back though. 3 picks for today:

            Missouri -14.5: Risk $22.00 to win $20.00
            Tulane +13.5: Risk $11.00 to win $10.00

7 Point Teaser: Risk $18.00 to win $15.00
            Michigan State +13
            NC State -.5
            Maryland -2.5

            Record to Date: 4-3

            Starting Bankroll: $50.00
            Current Bankroll: $85.00

Goodjob bro, keep it up. Care to share your reasoning on the Tulane/Memphis game, and the Mizzou/SC games? Because I feel that Im on the opposite ends here with them

For the Tulane Memphis game, Tulane tends to play teams pretty tough on the road. Three of their four road losses have been 6 points or less (the other was the first game of the season), and they had a road win at Alabama a few weeks ago. The players who get the majority of the minutes for Tulane are older, more experienced players and this is a big game for them against the top dog of Conference USA. I expect this game to be a tight one most of the way through with Memphis winning, but not covering the spread.

For Missouri South Carolina, for starters I think Missouri is being undervalued a lot here because of the blowout against Florida. From a statistical standpoint, South Carolina has an offensive rebounding rate of 42.6% which is good for 3rd best in the nation. This is their biggest strength. Missouri however only gives up 29.2% of offensive rebounds to the other team which I believe negates this advantage. South Carolina also does a good job getting to the line, but Missouri is one of the best teams in college B ball at not letting teams get to the line. Missouri dominates South Carolina in every other category, and I believe they are going to torch South Carolina's 270th ranked defense in terms of efficiency.

What I think this comes down to though more than anything is South Carolina's lack of a tough schedule. Through 17 games, their toughest opponents were Clemson (Home) and St. John's (Away), both games which they lost (64 -55 and 89 - 65) Behind those two, the next toughest opponent South Carolina has faced this year was arguably Vanderbilt, which resulted in another home loss. I don't think South Carolina has the experience or the ability to play with this Missouri team on the road, and I expect a blowout. This would be my play of the day if I had to choose one, and I wouldn't advise taking the other side on it.

I tailed you on the Tulane pick and the Mizz U77.5, hope they hold on. The mizzou bet will come down to the wire, thought we were good after the first half....

                    1/23 Picks

Terrible 1st half from Missouri last night... just couldn't hit a 3 pointer to save their lives. Ended up being a fun game to watch though even on the losing end. Didn't see the NC State game but it was pretty frustrating seeing them blow a double digit halftime lead at home to a worse team to blow my teaser. Hoping to bounce back with today's picks (Note all bets will be risking $11 to win $10):

                    IU -24
                    Southern Mississippi -9.5
                    Iowa State -10.5
                    Florida -15.5
                    Creighton -9.5

                    Record to date: 5-5

                    Starting Bankroll: $50
                    Current Bankroll: $55

Feel pretty good about all the plays today, think I'm going to bounce back well from yesterdays losses. Will be at the IU game myself, Bol today with all your picks everyone.

Roughhhhhhhh beat on IU. Up 25, rebounded Penn State's miss with 13 seconds left, then threw the ball away. Hopefully Florida can pull this one out still after the rough first half.

                        1/24 picks

Went 2-3 on the night yesterday so not bad. Awesome beat for once though in that for the first time in my gambling life something screwed up with my bets so they were never recorded! Wish this could happen on a night where I go 0-5. Oh well I'll take it. I made all my bets for the day in class on the same ticket, and I'm guessing with my school's terrible wireless it just never made it through and I neglected to check on it again since I was in a rush to get to the IU game myself. So I will adjust the record as if I made the bets, but not change my bankroll as that is what I am operating with. Picks for today (hopefully some winners):

                        Wyoming +9 Risk $11.00 to win $10.00
ML Risk $4.00 to win $14.00
South Dakota -11.5 Risk $11.00 to win $10.00
                        Clemson +5 Risk $11.00 to win $10.00

                        Western Carolina +15.5
                        Seattle 0
                        Mississippi +1.5

                        Record to date: 7-8
                        Starting Bankroll: $50
                        Current Bankroll: $55

Feel best about Wyoming ats and the teaser if you're tailing. BOL all with your plays.
