Maybe USC players are loose and relieved after knowing that they won't have O'Neill barking down their necks for everything. From what I hear he wasn't exactly a players coach or that popular with the players either.
For me its just a no play, lean under.

so, last game i saw was stanford at usc and there was no one at the game. stanford cost me a fat parlay but i digress. i would not call the environment "hostile". it looked dead during that game but this line has got me sketched out.
