    illinois +6 at wisconsin?
someone tell me the scoop on this. from my square perspective this line is a bit high. illinois has stumbled a couple of times lately but they also have kicked the shit out of ohio state and gonzaga. is the line based on pace of play maybe? that wisconsin can get a lead and ice it? because they have not been impressive at all this year. i feel like i have to be missing something.

Always be tentative betting against Wisco at home. Illinois lives and dies by the three ball. Wisco does a good job contesting shots. Line seems a bit high I agree, but I still wouldn't touch this with an 88 ft pole.

Illinois gets exposed for the non ranked status they deserve at Wisconsin. Illinois caught Gonzaga at the right time. They were high on the 2 point last second win over Washington State which gave them their best start since D1. Illinois came in and took advantage of a team in a let down position. They almost lost to Hawaii. They did lose to Purdue. U of I is a good B1G team but they should not be ranked, despite their thrashing of Ohio State. If you really want a write up I can give you one but the short version is Wisconsin easily covers game line.

i just saw that the big ten guru no coin liked wisconsin in his thread. so i am probably missing something, as i usually am. but i still would like to hear more thoughts on this.

i will also say that a team high on beating washington state shouldn't be ranked either, but that's not really the discussion. but i'm not really sure they were necessarily on cloud nine off that win.

I'm playing Ill although I'm keeping it small. I don't buy that they just caught Gonzaga in a letdown spot. That game they shot lights out and contested the boards. It was a hard fought game played pretty well by both teams an Illinois came out on top. But the problem with Illinois is they rely on the outside shot which is inconsistent, and are a streaky team, and you can't rely on them being as hot as they were in that game. I admit they don't match up great against Wisonsin, but still think 6 is too many here. Was expecting 4 or so. Especially since Wisconsin has been playing some low scoring games lately. Only put up 47 in their win over nebraska. Makes 6 seem like even more to me, and I've got to take it even though I recognize that it is "square". Good luck in your action. Just my opinion.
