4 games I really want to hammer Thursday -- need expert advice

I'm in the tank for the college hoop season, though Wednesday provided a ray of hope so my confidence is up a little.

I need some thoughts on these games:

Miami (Fla.) +5 and ML at North Carolina
Iowa +2.5 and ML vs. Michigan State
Utah +5.5 and ML vs. UCLA
Oregon +1 vs. Arizona

I'm far from an expert, but why Oregon? I like Arizona a fair bit in that game.

playing canes for sure,,just cant decide if i should play now or wait to see if unc love drives it up to 5/6? mia should be able to control the tempo and make life tough on unc...

no opinion on the others really.utes maybe worth a shot, pretty late in the season for bruins 1st true road gm and utah been a lot better this yr than last at least...

gun to head id prob play ducks, but not really sure and they really only beat 1 solid team all yr so hard to trust a lot of their numbers seeing how they have played the 328th strongest schedule...

canes, uc davis, are only 2 that really interest me a ton,,,kinda lean buffs and maybe marist...not nearly as good a card as we had today,,gonna get some sleep and see if ican find some totals in the morning cause just wasnt a whole lot i liked on card..

Honestly have no idea at this point. Oregon's the weakest of the four.

I really think Miami and Utah are both flying under the radar a little right now. I'm not big on what North Carolina brings to the table this year, and even though UCLA has been playing much better, I think the improved Utes use this as a measuring-stick game.

I know MSU pretty well, and I'm just not sure if they're ready to handle life on the road in the Big Ten. Iowa needs a statement win, and this might be it. MSU has solid guards -- I love the Harris kid, who is a freshman -- but Nix and Payne have been pretty weak/suspect in the post so far this year.

Admittedly it's more the due factor than anything else. Oregon has some weapons and I just kind of feel like Arizona has to have a clunker coming up. I don't have as strong a feeling about that as I do about the other three though.

Some expert advice... stay away from the power conferences.... do some real research and play the smaller schools.... there is money to be made in the Big West, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Summit etc...

for sure...canes d is right up there with uva's and tex who both caused unc all kinds of problems,,, granted those were on the road but defense travels and mia not turning it over or taking bunch of bad shots that would allow heels to get out on the break...seems like a solid enough play to me..

I will throw my 2 cents in. I really like Iowa, have much respect for Mich.St. they play good D and are very well coached. I think Iowa will be jacked up for this one. The last two times theses teams played were @ Mich. St. Iowa lost by 17 and then 34 points.!! Iowa has a good team this year. Also Iowa is 6-6 last 12 SU @ home playing state.! As for Mia. over NC we know this edition of NC is not up to par from prior years.But line has been adj. and I think NC will win big(gut feel)......................I hope this helps....................gl

Love the Mia guard tandem. Have the experience to win on the road or at least keep it close. Lot of people gonna be overlokking this group. Hopefully Johnson will be back and in shape sooner than later. GL NC.

26% of unc scoring comes from behind the arc,,, not exactly a huge number, bout same as canes, cept mia defends the perimeter as well only allowing teams to hit around 30% from outside where unc allows 34% from behind the arc.. actually of the 2 mia takes more 3s and defends the 3 better..
