William & Mary +12.5 vs Purdue

Looks like one of the better lines on the board today. William & Mary much improved over last year and Purdue being over valued given their more known name. Game should be single digits.

I like the play, being a WM grad

I don't think Purdue can score enough points to be a 12 point favorite against WM.

I also like the UNDER 128 in the game. Both teams run relatively slow-tempo offenses and defend the 3-pointer very well (something WM does a lot of). Both teams are also coming off relatively long rests so I expect both teams to be rusty on offense to start the game.

nice. remember watching those CAA tourney games and rooting hard. my brother played for Shaver at Hampden-Sydney before he moved on to W&M. solid coach.

O cool. I was at the CAA tourney the year (2007) when they won the 1st 3 games on last second shots before losing to Mason in the final. Pretty crazy run they had then.

Yeah, Shaver is a good coach for the usual lack of athleticism he has. However, I think this is the most athletic team he has had at W&M and the weakest the CAA has been in a long time with VCU now gone.

Hopefully, this is the year they get to the NCAA tourney...

i dream of the day the Tribe makes the tourney. gonna have to happen soon before expansion renders it relatively meaningless for long-waiting Tribe fans (Northwestern in similar boat). they played great 1H vs Purdue, hope that they keep it up. Britt, Thornton and Gallaird all had outstanding 1Hs (collective 33 points on 12-14 shooting with 6 assists, 2 steals vs 3 TOs). go Tribe!

I know I am late on this, but I wouldn't have touched it. W&M has looked better in executing their offense than Purdue, but they don't have that clutch factor to play well in the last 5 minutes (usually missed FTs/careless turnovers)

I am surprised also because Purdue has a very good rebounding margin on the year. However, with the amount of 3 pointers shot between the 2 teams, it comes down to which hustles more to the long rebounds

I would probably take WM to cover against Vandy also, especially 1st half. WM has played well against the big 6 conference teams in the 1st half before screwing up in the last 10 minutes of the game. I have watched Vandy play and they are really bad this year
