VCU played 2 opponents around the same level as ODU: Winthrop and Stetson. The scores were 90-54 and 92-56, respectively.

Let's say ODU plays as good as their best game so far...scoring 72 points (which they won't considering VCU's opp 60 pt average against mostly top 50 opponents. Last 3 games avg 63)

ODU's defense is better than Stetson/Winthrop so they obviously will not give up 90 to VCU. Let's say they give up only 82 (Which is a stretch since VCU scored 78 on Memphis).

Let's predict a score of 82-72, if ODU is lucky...

VCU is coming off a 10 point win vs a decent Belmont team and 5 days rest. Old Dominion is coming off a 27 point loss from Richmond, at home and only 2 days rest.

On top of VCU having less turnovers and more opponent turnovers than ODU, ODU has to have their best offensive performance all year against their toughest opponent thus far. ODU's current opponent effective FG average is almost 54%. Literally worst 40 in the country.

So if they can make a miracle happen after getting blown out 2 days ago, then maybe they will cover.

If they slip up, VCU wins by 25.
