Interested to see what posters think about this game. ISU a more athletic team, but untrustworthy with the ball (never been a fan of Korie Lucious). The Clyburn kid is a monster, though. Hawkeyes have home court advantage, but I haven't been very impressed with them so far. Their D has been very porous. Wichita State and Virginia Tech both manhandled them.

Iowa hasn't been great handling the ball either and thus plays at the slowest pace imaginable....to protect the rock lol.

So they're legit yet they got waxed by Wichita and Virginia Tech? Iowa's going to have trouble with long and athletic teams all year. I like White and Marble, but the two freshman "studs" they have -- Woodbury and Gesell -- don't look like anything special so far.

Im not trying to start an agrument or anything I just think IOWA is an undervalued team that is gonna fuk a lot gamblers on SBR this year.

I'm putting my money on Iowa lighting it up from three at home. ISU will get rattled which leads to easy points for Iowa.

ISU should win this. Iowa play slow and have a weak defense. State plays a little to fast at times and gives a lot of turnovers. Individually ISU are better players and I think they'll win by a couple of points.

I don't know what Iowa team you have been watching, but they do not play slow. In fact they are the opposite of slow, they play a fast paced, up-tempo style of offense.

They "try" and play up-tempo, then get run off the court by more athletic teams.

Plus, "up-tempo" doesn't = zero defense, which is their main problem right now.
