Washington St. stinks and it seems like covers is doing everything in their power to avoid betting Gonzaga spread? they typically blow people out? thoughts on this one anyone?

Only thing that stops me is that WashSt has been holding teams to lower scores, even in losses, in their last 4 games.

Avg of 52 pts for opponents. Now, I know they're not Gonzaga by any means, but A&M held 15 less than their avg, ARPB 18 less than avg, Idaho 10 less than avg. Again, not nearly as good as the Zags, but this is also Gonzaga's first true road test. I'm on the fence. Debating taking the O130.5 OR switching all together and taking New Mexico -8.5.Comment -
I like Gonzaga tonight even on the road. They are the better team on paper and have not played a close game so far this season. WSU hasn't played anyone of significance this season and the one game they played against a ranked team they lost in blowout fashion. Zags hold the edge in every major head to head statistic; they're better on the boards, better shooting, better defensively, more 3's per game, more steals and has played and handled the better competition. If the Zags can find a way to contain Motem and not allow him to go off, they have a real good shot to cover this on the road.Comment -
True but those teams are all garbage teams and are no where near the same caliber as Gonzaga. The Kansas game would be more comparable to what WSU is up to tonight. Granted I am alittle worried about the road test, but Florida played their first road game tonight and they were still as good as advertised. A backdoor cover would be what you have to worry about in this game. I like NM as well...probably a better sport than this game since NM is at home and USC is struggling. based on the information provided above, I think the play may actually be under 130.5, especially with almost 70% of the public hammering the over. as for -11.5, I think paying a little price on the chalk for gonzaga @ -8.5 (-175), it might be a wise play...in case Washington St drains a 'freebie' basket at the end of the game....which we have all been screwed by countless times! bol to everybody on the playComment -
