Michigan State an Underdog tomorrow?

I know they are playing on the road, but why is Michigan State a 3 point dog? Against a Miami team that is not proven at all. After watching the Minnesota game tonight, I want to pound Mich State as the better team road dog. Any insight would be nice. Maybe I am just underestimating Miami because I don't follow them.

Harris won't play but they are dangling his "game-time decision" status. He almost certainly will be out. (freep.com) Travis Trice (concussion) should see his 1st minutes since the UCONN game which will help take some pressure off Appling. Izzo is juggling lineups and hammering his guys despite wins (narrow) against ULL, Boise, Oakland. As a SERIOUS MSU FAN (see avatar) I wouldn't put it past Sparty to lose this game. Miami has length that will bother MSU. Word is Izzo is unhappy with Valentine and Nix and this could be one of those games that Izzo uses to "send a message" to his team- then later they use it as a rallying or turning point- happens every year and there is no other non-conference game they can possibly lose.... tread carefully- but man I hope I'm wrong and we destroy the Canes! GO STATE! (no bet for me- too much of a fan)

I put on the game like the idiot I am, and watch it be the game they drop.
Wouldn't be surprised at all.... actually, I'm warning people to stay away because whenever I put down on a game like this, I get pummeled.
