    Oklahoma State -12 1st half

I realize it's a lot of points to lay. But Portland has been down at the half by ~20 points in its 2 previous games. Against Portland and Oregon, both on the road. Now they're traveling to Ok St, who cracked the top 25 for the first time in 5 years. They'll be looking to prove they belong. They've led at the half by double digits in their previous 2 games, and had a full week of rest since dominating then #6 NC State.

Only thing preventing me from going large here, is Oklahoma state's performance's at home have not been as dominant. But there seems to be more chemistry since then. Laying 12 doesn't leave much room for error, so let's hope this young team is focused and comes out swinging.

    Michigan -6

I've been waiting for a nice spot to fade NC State, and this sets up perfectly for it. NC State is a team with raw talent, but no chemistry or intelligence. Michigan should be able to score at will, against their apathetic defense. NC State has lost 4 in a row in the ACC/Big Ten challenge, and I don't see anything changing tonight. Watch Michigan play and you see the players selling out, and diving after loose balls. NC State doesn't have that desire, and won't be able to match Michigan's intensity.

Also like the Houston Rockets - 5.5 over the Raptors. Houston has been tough at home. Toronto coming off a double overtime loss.

Record so far, after Oklahoma State led at the half by 18. Should hmore overhead by even more, but OK St Freshman PG Marcus Smart got off to a slow start.

      Dayton -12

This play is more of a Weber State fade. They are still getting too much credit for last year. Losing Damian Lillard, And 2 other starters has left this team in disarray. Their leading scorer is a transfer student, and the lone source of their offense. They are shooting ~36% against weak D1 opponents. 2 games, 2 loses.
Dayton has 5 games under their belt and some good performances. Including a 16 point win @Boston College.
I'm not sure I trust Dayton dominate, but they should have enough to cover the 12. Pube's are on Weber St, so might get a better # closer to tip.

Nice day yesterday, although Michigan barely covered, despite being up by 15 with under 5 min to play.

        Kobe Bryant under 27.5 points

After scoring 40 against the Pacers, and taking 28 shots in the loss. I think Kobe is starting to hear the chatter about getting teammates more involved. The Lakers are less successful when Kobe scores over 25 points, and the media has picked up on this. It was evident in the Lakers next game, when Kobe took just 15 shots. Finishing with 14 points and 8 assists, in a 122-103 win over Denver. Also, Dwight Howard will likely be taking more shots, being it's the 1st game against his former team. Could be a blow-out with Kobe getting fewer minutes in the 4th qtr. always a risk going against Kobe, but worth it in this spot.

Dayton not only failed to cover, but lost SU. Failed to incorporate several factors in this game. I'll look for another opportunity to fade Weber St. And likely make up for the loss.
