Well I would say that so far conventional wisdom has been proven wrong because I'm at 50% and a couple hundred in the black. Over the course of a season however you are quite right. This thread, at least for me, is mostly to track these RLM plays I take and to then get a good idea of whether or not such a system is worth using through out a season. For someone who has zero hoops knowledge (in terms of teams and players) I think I've done quite alright so far but the swings with this system are pretty brutal.Comment -

Wtf are you talking about? Who was bashing? You dont need to be a defensive bitch! Vegas just gives a line. You can pick whichever side you want. One wins and one loses. Picking the proper side more often than not is the trick. Everything runs in streaks. I can run hot and go 15-2. That doesnt mean I'm necessarily better than you. I can also go 2-15 and not be worse than you. Using RLM and your "secret factors" is fine but don't get on a high horse because you use a more strict guideline. Sometimes watching players/games works as well. To each their own. That's why I'm not bashing you. It's fine what you do...don't call other ways "ignorance" because your way doesn't necessarily work much better than anything else though.

I never flip flopped about a thing and never once bashed anyone in here. I think there still isn't a substitute for watching teams and getting a feel for their strengths and weaknesses. Obviously Vegas has the most info but the vast majority of games don't finish on the number do they? You are the one with the bad attitude. An if you watch RLM that is Vegas setting a trap they know what the game turnout will be most likely so much they move the line toward the public when the public is already 70%+ on them to beg for more public to hammer the team!
