listen to the kid, possessions will be minimal. FT's shouldn't be a concern, Brey plays to win but I think he has the decency to call off the dogs fouling wise, if the time comes. DePaul is the play here, however they are one of my least favorite teams to back. Same shit for 4 years now w/ Brandon Young and Cleveland Melvin. Their big man Freshman Tommy Hamilton is filled w/ talent but lacks killer instinct at this point.

Georgetown as you know is defense first, but they are much better @ home. In this spot, coming off the Mich St non conference top 10 win then bouncing back to chicago w/ one day rest against an inferior opponent. You could see how they could easily come out flat and not match the Demons intensity.

G Town makes you work every possession ranking in the top 30 and DePaul is the complete opposite Ranking in the bottom 30.

The game is going to be about pace

As a volume bettor who's trying to hit 55%, betting 1% this qualifies as a play.

I'm trying to be more selective, bet less games and place 3-5% wagers. For that I'm not so sure.

However what Im trying to create here is be very selective and bet bigger

especially this time of year in NCAA Hoops you will get murdered betting volume

Deep into conference play can really expose a capper (believe me i know)

I'm starting my week w/ a 2x play

Notre Dame is a complete mess right now, they have only won 2 of their last 8 after beating Duke. The loss of Jerian Grant is really starting to show over this stretch. (BTW this would of been the grant brother match-up, and Jerami Grant is one of my top 10 favorite players in the nation just an amazing talent already)

Mike Brey is notorious for playing big name teams well and he is obv very familiar w/ Syracuse. He utilizes "the burn offense" in situations like these and its goal to basically to limit his opponents possessions. He kills Louisville with it all the time.

Syracuse coming off the biggest game of the season in just a crazy environment w/ only one day turnaround. Clearly showing a chance to come out a lil flat. They are first in the nation in avg Possession Length on Defense (ND ranked in top 120/351 themselves).

Combine that w/ the fact that these teams rank 11th and 12th respectively in fouls per game at 16 per. This means not a lot of points scored w/ the clock stopped.

Lastly, I don't expect a ton of fouls late in this one

I want that 131, but don't wanna pay -115 on the buy. Hoping maybe Big Monday, limited Card line gets pushed back.

Tuesday's Thoughts:

The Manhattan Jaspers are in a must a win situation tonight. They have have dropped 2 straight in the MAAC (tough games) and now they come home to host Struggling St. Peter's. The Jaspers follow this game w/ 3 straight on the road starting w/ Canisius. Sitting @ 7-4 in conference they can not afford to drop this one @ home.

Manhattan is a very strong offensive team, they generate the most FTA/FGA in the nation. George Beamon gets what he wants on the court, and they also are one of the deepest teams in the country they play 10-12 guys every night. They generate a ton of turnovers due to having those fresh legs.

St Peter's is one of the worst offensive teams in the country and really don't do much right.

Manhattan already beat them by 12 @ their place.

I had this game -11, it opened up at 13.5 and has since crept down to 12.5/13.

I lean Manhattan but haven't pulled the trigger, w/ the postponement and what not I'll probably sit this one out.

I think Kentucky could be on upset alert tonight, or at least they will get everything they want from Ole Miss. The Rebels desperately need a signature win to make up for some bad losses. Both teams are tied for currently tied for second in the SEC.

UK has looked strong in Conference @ home but they have played the bottom of the league in 3/4 games: Miss St, A&M, UGA. They did beat a good Tennessee team by 8. They have not looked good defensively in the last 2 games allowing both LSU & Missouri to shoot over 50%.

Ole Miss has won 5/6 and are feeling confident after the comeback win against South Carolina. I saw some locker room quotes and guys were really talking about how this team is coming together and how they would of never been able to comeback and fight in that situation last year. The Rebels are very deep and have an outstanding backcourt as you already know in Henderson/Summers.

The wildcats have a huge edge on the offensive glass and they are going to get their second chance points. However I just feel that this could be a spot where the young cats might let one slip.

Also it just seems like a perfect spot for Marshall Henderson to go off in Rupp on National TV, throwing those 3 goggles up all night. I think the Rebels have enough bodies to throw inside and at least be competitive in the paint. Don't get me wrong UK is gonna score inside, but 11.5 just seems like too many points here.

Mississippi is better on the defensive end then people think ranking 3rd in conference, they are solid at the line, they actually have blocked more shots than UK, & most importantly they take care rock and force a ton of turnovers.

If the Rebels hang around early or get out to a quick start and begin to believe they can win, watch out.

Lkid I know you are high on this UMass team. Tonight the are back home after a two game losing streak on the road and they take on a struggling rd Tm in La Salle.. Ml sits around 290.. Yes it's a lot of chalk but I am seriously considering it because Umass is great at home and La salle struggles on the road. Umass is in a good spot to rebound tonight from their recent struggles.
