Let me first say that you guys know I'm rarely on the public side on these types of games. This is just a spot where I think the Wildcats are just being undervalued. I was on SDST and Colorado against Zona but I'm riding them in this matchup as a 2 unit play.
Sean Miller's bunch will be focused, they are not going to come into Eugene and take this game lightly. I've read quotes all week from Coach Miller and several players stating that they are aware they have gotten lucky a few times and know that won't continue. They have said they need to play better and I really think they will be motivated tonight to match the intensity that this Oregon Duck squad will bring tonight.
I expect a terrific game, but I think Arizona will find a way to win just like they have been doing.
This play seems too easy to be true, and that normally holds true, but I'm sticking to my guns in this one.

Colorado returning home after an awful trip to the state of Arizona. I question this teams confidence at this point after blowing two big leads back to back. I see a hangover spot here, they are facing a USC who has been horrible at times but is improving.
Colorado will be a big public play as everyone saw them get robbed against arizona and USC has been terrible against the spread going 4-10 and 0-4 on the road. I'm siding w/ vegas in this situation and I've already seen this line drop to 8 @ some shops.
This line is simply set too high and I'll take a shot w/ the road dog here.
USC +8.5 1x
I'm confident I'll beat both of these closing lines as well.

I can't play USC. I just can't get myself to do it. I have Colorado in a HUGE ML play, so I'm really hope the buffs win. But I am staying away from this game ATS.

I see you are expecting the number to drop as well, which I do agree with. I think this closes at 7.5.
One of my biggest goals is trying to beat the closing number I really think it's very important to win long term. This situation the line is too high, now could USC get blown out, of course. But I think they cover this number tonight, as I imagine Vegas is tired of the 4-10 ats mark by USC up to this point.
Public perception of these two teams are complete opposites (some for good reason) so this allows vegas to set the high number in this spot.
If they set this number @ say 6.5 (which I thought it should be) all the action they'd get on Colorado won't change that much than putting this line out @ 8.5 like that did.
This is simply a value play against a team in Colorado that I think could be really down on themselves and that's not a good combination going into a game that they should win easy.
I'm guessing USC's preparation (as a slightly improving team) will be more focused than Colorado's Prep ( as a team coming off two blown leads, one against a top 5 team that got stolen from them)Comment -

I do however I think Colo will cover against USC but the Arizona play is an easy win
