I'm close to pulling the trigger on St. Johns -3

Whats everyone thinking about this game?

I'm in that same boat, I don't think Detroit scores with the same efficiency against a bigger (albeit younger) SJU squad. Detroit lost more then people want to admit but with that said, Ray McCallum is legit and Detroit is deep enough to support him.

SJU is going to outrebound them man..but I can't say they look like the better team. Sure the number is getting juicy looking but I think it's a trap...going to make a small bet on Detroit 1st half I think that might be a decent play.

I was actually thinking about taking Detroit but ultimately decided to stay away from this game. I think Detroit is a solid team and they beat SJU last year. However, this is a completely different SJU team and they are playing at home this time. This game could go either way and I am just going to sit back and watch to see how SJU looks early in the year.

If I had to make a play, I'd take Detroit this early in the season even though I think SJU could develop into a nice team later in the year.

Apparently, the coach may have changed his mind in regards to red-shirting him man...I could be wrong. He didn't play any pre-season games but media is talking about the coach taking a chance on him due to two other transfers having approvals delayed by the NCAA....I guess we'll see.

Looking forward to it man, let's get this...fwiw St. John star guard Harrison is not starting, for disciplinary reasons, but will play starters minutes off the bench, another reason I like this.
