I'm seeing Pittsburgh -12... I know Lehigh is a good mid major team, even made some money off them yesterday against Robert Morris. I know Pittsburgh is a different beast than Bobby Morris, but 12 points sounds like a lot. Anyone know much about Pittsburgh? Thanks and BOL everyone.

#2Crazy public action on Pitt yet the line has stayed pretty steady at 12 at most books. This tells me the books are real comfortable with their position seeing as 85% of the public is on Pitt yet the line has moved half a pt (12.5-12) in Pitts favor. When so much public action is on a team and the line stays pretty steady I like fading the public. GL with your decision sir.Comment -

#4Good point. But who side would you rather be on? The publics or the books? It's a no brainer IMO (in my opinion).Originally posted by FriscoBooks aren't always rightComment -

#5I'd rather be on the correct side. Which recently has been the public more than the 'sharps'. Some of the lines being put out there have been god awful in the last few weeks (especially in football).Comment -

#6We'd all like to be on the right side my friend but if it were that easy everyone would be winning. Even taking what you said into consideration I still favor the books here. Good luck either way!Originally posted by FriscoI'd rather be on the correct side. Which recently has been the public more than the 'sharps'. #7Same to you bud. Just think sometimes ppl look into public vs sharp plays too much.Originally posted by Murray RothbardWe'd all like to be on the right side my friend but if it were that easy everyone would be winning. #8I hear ya bro and a lot of people agree with you but I've come to the conclusion that it does matter and that line movement does mean something. How much stock someone puts on line movement is always going to be subjective but I've come to the conclusion that (barring any typos on the public consensus sites) if 75%+ of the public is on one side and the line keeps favoring that side you go the other way.Originally posted by FriscoSame to you bud. #10Thanks for the info on line movements- helpful for sure. Lately all the favorites covering by landslides has me worried, but I like the underdog here. I agree that CJ can always be a difference maker, just know very little about Pittsburgh. Thanks again for the insight fellas and BOLComment -

#11I don't have a problem w/ that way of thinking, but there are times when there are times when the books think they're being sharp when they're really setting themselves up for a burial (Oregon vs USC, Colts on Thursday, etc)Originally posted by Murray RothbardI hear ya bro and a lot of people agree with you but I've come to the conclusion that it does matter and that line movement does mean something. #12Np bro. I don't have the slightest clue who this CJ character is but I hope you're right because based on the LM i'll probably be putting money on Lehigh.Originally posted by SonofSwampThangThanks for the info on line movements- helpful for sure. #14Bout to the hook and took LeHigh +12.5 for the game and I also took LeHigh +7 1H. Been basing all of my college plays this year on RLM and so far I am fairing well. Good luck to everyone!
