Of late...they crushed them in '08, beat them in their fourth warm up game with all new players in '10. Spain has the best team in Europe, but they also play a style too similar to the NBA. I do think it matters how US uses their personnel. If they give big minutes to Melo, Kobe, D Will they can get into big trouble.

The Gold Medal game in 08 wasn't a beating...Spain cut the lead to 3 points with a few minutes left and the final was "a closer than the score indicated" 118-107. All this with Jose Calderon out with an injury so you had a 17 year old Ricky Rubio running the team.
