#37Spurs are not in the same league as the Heat, to be honest. They lost to Memphis last year in the first round, as a 1 seed. Easy to see how they choked against OKC this year.Originally posted by HotHandThat's what many people were saying in the okc vs spurs series. Spurs game four was a lock and if they lose double down game 5 spurs at home and look what happened.Comment -

Thank you.
You guys are hilarious. The Heat have this wrapped up.
Nobody, and I repeat NOBODY in the HISTORY of the NBA FINALS has EVER rallied back from a 3-1 deficit.

#39hell spurs didnt choke, they wouldnt admit it but their season was a huge success, not easy to go as far as they did in such impressive fashion sporting a over the hill HOF'er and a bunch of roll players...Originally posted by convickSpurs are not in the same league as the Heat, to be honest. #40That's because so many teams up 3-1 have game 5 on the road then would come home for games 6 and 7. At that point, their opponent's will is broken. If OKC wins game 5, they're favored in the remaining two games. Only the Michael Jordan Bulls of '93 and '98 have gone on the road and won after losing game 5 at home with a 3-1 lead (since the 2-3-2 move). And if there is one team that would get tight and feel the pressure of being the first team to blow a 3-1 Finals lead, it's Miami.Originally posted by RichieRacks

#41So what? History doesn't always repeat itself. If you're so confident that Miami is a lock, bet your life savings on them.Originally posted by RichieRacks

#42Life savings? I'm 20...
But I did lock up Miami for some chump change after Game 3. I would put everything I have on Miami but right now at around -430, that's just retarded.
In the NBA, it's hard as fcuk to close out games, so I'm expecting this to go back to OKC, however I have no doubt Miami is going to close it out there.Comment -

#46Putting way too many conditions on it. How many teams have simply won game 6 or 7 on the road going into it with a 3-2 lead? We saw that happen last year.Originally posted by rofacapperOnly the Michael Jordan Bulls of '93 and '98 have gone on the road and won after losing game 5 at home with a 3-1 lead (since the 2-3-2 move).Comment -

#49I'd like to disagree on the conspiracy theory but you continue to make valid points.!Originally posted by BigDofBAI just don't see OKC taking this game back home.Miami is ready to celebrate at home and OKC has lost three straight games that were one posssesion under a minute to go. Miami is simply the more composed team. They have been there and OKC hasn't.OKC's time will come but it's Miami's time.Comment -
