The Heat was up 2-1 last year but they were on the road, now they're home.(big difference) And I think the Heat also remembers being up 2-1 last year so I highly doubt that they have one of their famous complacent games. I expect Heat to come out attacking, especially after they just won a game they should've lost. Harden hasn't arrive to the finals yet. Westbrook takes more bad shots than good. KD can't move his feet quick on defense, that's why he stays in foul trouble. Most of his fouls are blocking fouls. OKC ain't ready yet. And with all the possible free agents (CP3, D-Will, Howard etc..) I don't see Thunder coming back to the finals for another 3 or 4 yearsComment -

I am the biggest Lebron hater out there. His entire career I have watched him dominate the regular season, dominate anytime he drove to the lane, and dominate defensively. He is still doing the exact same thing he has always done, except now he is finally playing with legitimate intensity and focus. He has finally learned to cope with the pressure of the playoffs. He finally got his mind in the right place and he is reaping the benefits. He is very likely going to win a championship because of his mental improvement. He will likely jump up a few spots on the list of all time greatest basketball players and land somewhere around Elgin Baylor and Julius Erving, which would move him higher on the list than Kobe. The 13th or 14th greatest basketball player of all time, and he is only in his twenties.
But I am not sure why I am supposed to like him now or why I am supposed to "stfu"? All the reasons why I dislike him and wish him failure still hold true. What does a championship ring have to do with anything?Comment -
The hate comes from liking Cleveland so much that you can't see past it. Guy wanted to win so he went somewhere where he could. No different than Allen, Pierce and Garnett. Most people don't hate his game, they hate his choice or how he did it. If he wins they'll no longer be able to hope and pray he doesn't get one. Agree but I don't understand. Lebron gave Cavs seven years of his life. Not only did he make the Cavs relevant but he brung that city a lot of money and business. The last meaningful player before Lebron was fukkin Mark Price. And then they put players around him like Mo Williams, Larry Hughes, Antwan Jamison, Old Shaq, Eric Snow, Anthony Parker, JJ Hickson, and expect him to win a championship. Lebron has been the model citizen and player since coming into this league. He took less money for the sake of the "team". How many others can say that? So because a 25 year old kid makes an immature tv and talks about winning championships, everyone hates him? I am the exact opposite of a fan. I respect his ability but Lebron James is my least favorite athlete on the planet besides Brett Favre. And I have no affection for Cleveland, so throw that theory out the books. Also don't mention the part about joining forces with other players, that doesn't bother me. I already understand Lebron's mentality in 2010 and I know why he went to Miami. The rest of us wanted him to have the same demeanor as Jordan, but he simply didn't have it at that point in his career. You can't hate someone because they don't want to be the alpha dog (Although he is finally starting to change that behavior). I wonder if the warrior that Lebron James is today would make the same choice again to join two fellow Olympic players instead of leading his own franchise?
So anyway, why do I hate Lebron James? Sorry this is going to take a while. Good thing its a slow day at work.
1) He quit on his team in 2010. If you think that is an exaggeration, go watch the film again. He literally quit. Fact. There is no room for that in sports. 2012 Finals Lebron would never quit (so far), and you love him for it. 2010 Lebron did quit and I lost all respect for him. (Full disclosure I made the largest bet of my life on the Celtics in game 6 and won easily. While I lost all respect for Lebron in Game 5, I thank him sincerely for the profit)
2) The way he handled the entire summer of free agency was appalling. Silent treatment of the Cavs. Pretending to be confused about his future decision, although it was proven later that the entire thing was premeditated. An hour long TV show dedicated entirely to his ego. The expression "take my talents to South Beach". Sure, blame the agent who put him up to it, but he is his own man and he should have never gone along with it. Even the biggest Lebron hater can admit this was a terrible mistake.
3) "The Welcome Party" and every word out of his mouth at that event.

Why do you sink to this? And I am not talking about overexaggerating legitimate contact, a lot of players do that. Lebron James put on a legitimate acting display despite zero contact. This isn't European soccer. This is totally embarrassing.
5) His comments after losing the NBA Finals last year. He later tried to apologize and say he was misunderstood, but at the time he was frustrated and he meant exactly what he said about him going back to his million dollar lifestyle while the rest of us return to mediocrity. He looks down on people. He believes that his basketball ability means he is a superior person who can demean others. In a candid moment he showed his true colors, and later tried to back out of it.
6) The NBA completely overlooks the fact that he travels on 10-15% of his drives. They just don't care. It's better for the league when he shows up on highlight reels. He gets away with absurd traveling violations and it adds yet another advantage to an already superior athlete. An average fan who is looking closely can identify one traveling violation per game that does not get called.
7) The Hype. I don't blame everyone who receives hype from the media, but I do in this case. The billboards. The commercials. The Decision. His documentary. Twitter. He LOVES to take part in the hype. Tim Duncan won 4 NBA titles without an ounce of that. Duncan was a true professional who wanted to win championships and nothing else. When someone like Lebron James goes to every possible extent to promote himself and "his brand", we are perfectly justified to take our shots.
Going along with "hype". I have spent 3 years listening to people under the age of 30 act like Lebron James is the greatest player to ever live. Holy crap will you people please read up on the history of this league? You can make an argument that he is the greatest athlete in the the NBA, but greatest player? The people who make these claims are young, naive, and uneducated in the history of the game. Anyone who has ever said this should be forbidden to discuss sports until they educate themselves.
So in conclusion, I am a Lebron hater and I will not "STFU" about it. Even the biggest Lebron lovers need to agree with items 1 through 5. Those are very clear cut facts about Lebron that you can't deny. If you try to disagree with one, you are lying to yourself and everyone else. #6 and #7 are are a little more subjective. They are factual statements, but you don't necessarily have to hate Lebron because of them. I am allowed to, but I don't expect you to follow along.Comment -
LOVED??? WHAT ARE YOU SAYING??? Jordan and Kobe are both villains in this league. No one loves them. Everyone knows they are scumbags. You are making literally zero sense in this post. For a solid handicapper and bright guy you make some of the most insane comments sometimes. I guess we all do though, I am sure when I get ahead of myself I say some crazy stuff. Hopefully nothing as crazy as this though.
Also, I know you didn't read my post but I gave 7 more reasons why I hate Lebron, none of which have anything to do with taking less money for the sake of winning.

I have no problem with LeBron. I'm not a LeBron hater, nor am I a LeBron fan. I think the media and fans treat him unfairly for a few things in his past. America's reaction towards him going to Miami is so typical of "America." Love the guy one day, hate him the next day.
I had no problem with The Decision. Everyone watched it, and most fans would have preferred The Decision to just a random announcement through his agent or a reporter. What a lot of pepole don't know is that The Decision raised over 2.5 million dollars for the "Boys and Girls Club." Very surprised how many people are against charity.....Comment
