Most Important Stat for Game 5 of the Miami Heat/Boston Celtics Series
Since Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett decided to join Paul Pierce in Boston, the Celtics are 8-0 when playing in a Game 5 situation in the NBA playoffs when the series was knotted at 2-2 heading in

Jeff, I am not expressing an opinion on the game itself, but the information you giving is 100% meaningless. Those Celtics teams were different teams, with different opponents. The only thing that matters is the current matchup. Hack frauds like Brandon Lang find information like this and use it to trick naive, inexperienced bettors. The fact that Boston is 8-0 in Game 5's when the series is tied at 2-2 has 0.0% impact on the 2012 Boston Celtics vs the 2012 Miami Heat Matchup.

Real most important stat: The celts are 2-6 on the road in the playoffs this year, and have lost the last 6 playoff games in south beach

U shouldn't post facts that ESPN are putting on the "bottomline". Those can be deadly

Agree - but have known about the stat for awhile
Not saying the Celtics are the play because of it

Interesting stat, no doubt.
But 8 games is no where near enough to qualify as a trend and/or put money on.
I don't see how Heat and the Refs don't give it their 100% tonight....NBA desperately needs Heat in finals, and even IF they don't get there...they're not gonna let this series end in 6 by Boston winning tonight.

ESPN even led off its one-hour pre-game show with this stat, yet not one person on the panel picked the Celtics

I bet Celtics ML but still if you are just picking who you think is going to win over 50% you have to say Heat unless you are crazy
