Close-out shots at end of game-is Wade's ego too big?

Is there a team in the NBA that DOESN'T only do an isolation play for their best offensive player for the last shot in a game to win or lose it?

Why would Wade, a 26% 3 point shooter take the last shot instead of making a play for Miller, a 45% 3-pointer, Jones, a 40% 3 shooter, or even Chalmers, a 38.8% 3-pt guy?

Is it the coaches fault? It doesn't make sense. I'm not picking on Miami. It seems to happen with every NBA team.

Just curious what other people think.

As a Celtic fan I am so sick of Pierce running the clock down to 4-5 seconds from the top of the key and chucking up a prayer.
I realise that these plays are happening in real time on the court, which translates into slow motion on TV, but this is the best the coaches can come up with?

good question. I don't look at who made a post. If they sign it, I then know. Since I usually make posts that are controversial or against prior posts, I thought it was good to let people know who made the post.

When I send emails, I sign them off with my name. That is a 20-year habit.

It is nothing egotistical. I am actually trying to establish an identity in the forum.

I honestly don't always notice who makes a post. If they sign it, I am more apt to remember who's comment it was.

I read the posts. I don't always look over to the left to see who made the post. I assumed other people did the same. I don't have a Nazi general or a great woman's ass as an avatar for people to remember.

I'm not trying to piss you, Paco, or anybody else, off. And, I will continue to sign my name on many of my posts. I get a lot of people who private message me about a post. I don't know if they would do so if I didn't list my name at the end.

Heat coach said play design was to look for a cheap basket by Chalmers and if not open to give it to Wade and let him run down clock and chuck it from deep and not leave enough time to maybe get an offensive rebound and put back for 2OT...
