Blown out in Game 1 on short rest following a 7 Game series much like LA after Denver.

Play a phenomenal Game 2 only to have it stolen from them late much LA in Game 2 @ OKC.

The line is even basically the same as LA opened Game 3 a 2.5 pt fave and Boston opened a 1.5 pt fave.

At first last night I thought Boston had no shot as they would be too deflated from such an emotional loss but the Celtics are a team of pride and they will be ready tomorrow night. Let's not forget that Miami is still short-handed and if Lebron and Wade are contained it is up to role players like Battier, Chalmers, and Miller to knock down big shots.

Starting to lean pretty heavy Celtics tomorrow night. What do you guys think about the comparison to LA though?

I think you are on to something TWizz.

I really like Boston tomorrow. Doc has decided that LeBron will get his, but he is going to double Wade and make the role players beat him. Battier, Chalmers and Haslem are going to shoot lights out on the road. We all know that role players usually don't shoot as well on the road as they do at home.

LeBron will probably have a big game, but the Heat will come up short.

Would play Boston. Take the team with a sense of urgency. Small # to lay at home with the season on the line.

Miami might be comfortable with their lead in the series as well.

Playing Boston as well. I feel like Heat are going to lay down having a 2-0 series lead (like Spurs did tonight).

I do like the analogy to the Laker series....but with Miami, I'm also thinking about what happened with Knicks. The key difference in that was Knicks didn't really play that well game 2...but still ended up losing three in a row. I think Miami may very well take game 3 here and Boston wins game 4 (Miami vs Knicks series - and Miami finishes Boston in 5 @ home).

You are stupid. Knick is not on the same level with Heats. Celtic is.

Pretty dumb comparison NY without a PG and Miami with Chris Bosh. How could u compare this. Why don't you compare it to the pacers when the pacers took game 3. that's a better comparison since the pacers have similar firepower.

I thought Boston would win this game but Wade and Lebron will make a statement on the defensive end vs Rondo. They will not be shown up again so it's going to have to be a huge game from KG and PP which I'm not willing to bet on. I may take Miami and game 4 is a let down for mia.

Boston will win for the same reason okc won G3. They are fighting for their lives and mia will not be able to match their energy level and intensity.

Wade won't guard Rondo. If Lebron guards him then that helps Pierce out big time. James will only take Rondo at key moments in the game.

i might am fool, but in my eyes Miami was better at game 2. I don't feel like Boston lost a chance there, though the non call at Rondo's drive last play, cost the game.
The Heat were shooting more than 40 FTs, but they missed about 20. If they were able to score 5-7 more, then this game would have been an easy one, after the 3rd period come back.

So, i think 2-0 is fair enough and i expect a 3-0 tonight, to be honest.
Do you guys think Rivers is gonna double-team Wade again, like at game 2? If so, then James line has a shot and a good price, imo

When the Heat are up 2-0 in a series, they rarely go down 2-1. Its when they're up 3-0 is when they bullsh!t around. With that being said I think the heat wins tonight and plus Boston played an overtime game which the starters played 90% of the game (Rondo played the whole game) and had to jump on a flight probably right after. I think game 4 boston is the play. When you watch the game look how slow KG is on D late in the game. The celts wouldve had a better chance if they were playing Miami in round 1 or 2. Fatigue is killing Boston.

You idiot...this whole conversation is about comparing situation factors of Team X vs team Y in a series....where things were similiar. Its not a comparison of match-ups and how good 1 team is than the other.

And Pacers series doesn't apply well here, as Heat went on the road tied 1-1. Where as with Knicks they were 2-0, same thing now with Boston - so a better comparison. OKC/Lakers is also a good comparison because situation was very similiar. So its just 1 of 2 things will likely happen, the LAL/OKC or MIA/NYK. Meaning Boston either wins game 3 and Miami wins the next 2....or Miami wins game 3, loses 4, wins 5.

Role players will not play as well as they did at home in Game 1 and 2. If it wasn't for guys like Chalmers and Miller stepping up and keeping the game respectable in first half of Game 2, they might have gotten blown out in Game 2. Pacers really had Heat's number at home, until Wade and Lebron starting stepping up. It will be tougher for Wade and Lebron to do this with Doc Rivers defensive coaching schemes.

I strongly disagree. Bec I am only talking about the better cappers! Not every little thread that people make whom I have no clue who they are. But, ok. If you say so. Thanks & GL.

Na you're wrong bro. They will both guard him throughout the course of the game with Chalmers. You'll see, it won't only be at key moments. The Heat can shift Battier. All the defensive matchup's are in Miami's favor aside from KG.
