Could the Spurs go undefeated throughout the playoffs???
This team has won 19 straight. Could it be possible for them to sweep OKC? If so, could they then go on and sweep the Heat? I thought for sure they would lose at least one game in Utah. Then I thought they would at least give up a game against the Clippers, especially when they were down like 16 points in one game. They battled back and won that game too.

I've doubted the Spurs all season. I've waited for them to look old and tired but in reality, they are a pretty young team with a deep bench.

Has any NBA team ever sweep the playoffs? I don't think so. How about sweeping the first 3 series? Now I don't see how they can sweep OKC but if they did, I would think it's very possible to sweep Miami. Wouldn't that be incredible?

It's damn near impossible to sweep the Heat. You know it, I know it, the refs know it...

Lakers swept first 3 rounds year they played the Sixers in the Finals... first round was best of 5 then. They went 15-1 in those playoffs I think.

well while I do believe they will win it all, this sounds a little bit farfetched.

kneejerk reaction to the first 3 and a half minutes of game 2 vs okc...yeah, spurs this year can beat anyone they want whenever they want.

                            Arguably, Yes.

Closest comp would be 96 Bulls.. They would have ended the season as Champions winning 36 of their last 38 games (36-2) and one of those losses came with Ginobili, Parker, and Duncan all having a day off.

                            11-12 Spurs:
                            Total Record - 50-16
                            Playoff Record: 16-0

                            95-96 Bulls:
                            Regular Season: 72-10
                            Playoff Record - 15-3

The Spurs Team also played in a much tougher league, having to go through Clippers (Blake, Paul), Thunders (Heck, their entire team is sick), & Miami Heat (LeBron, Wade, Bosh) .... (Much more loaded teams with multiple stars on each team)..

while Chicago went through Heat (Mourning), Orlando (Shaq), and Seattle (Kemp, Peyton)

If they sweep OKC (still highly unlikely) and the Heat (dam near impossible with Stern's cronies) they are my best team ever. Much more parity in today's game.
