Why would they rig game 1? It seems to me if they were going to rig games they would start around game 4 or 5 and just try and get the series to go 6 or 7, and then maybe rig it for the team they want to advance.
No sense in rigging the least important game of a series and risk losing even more fans.
That being said, I think the technicals on the Celtics were awful calls. But I think it had more to do with bad officiating than anything else. I think the Celtics probably just got under the refs skin and he got all emotional and couldn't handle it. I hate it when refs get emotional (Joey Crawford). It's like the absolute one thing they shouldn't do in their job.
