Can't take emotion out of the game man. I really think they were trying to make sure the Heat covered 1H (-4.5) spread.

The game was not rigged - sometimes the referee is just terrible. That was the case tonight. He should not be allowed to ref any more playoff games.

The refs were bad in the first half.......Game was tied at halftime. Refs were hardly noticable in the second half and the Heat blew em out.

Games and series have been mandated ever since Stern took charge. Nothing new.
This shit is scripted like a soap opera.

Not to mention the lottery too.
It goes beyond the Ewing fix job too, which by the way is the biggest rig job since the beginning of time.
David Stern = Vince McMahon.
NBA = WWE
I seldom wager the NBA, but when I do I say this to myself before making the wager and pushing the 'enter' key, "I hope on the right side of the con here"
Regarding Smith, he's a blowhard, borderline racist, like Joe Morgan in baseball.
I'm told Smith is talented, but it's hard to see the talent from the wind he blows.

That Ewing lottery was such a sham. Now they won't even show the actual lotto balls.
Last year Cleveland gets the number 1 pick as payment for losing Lebron. They bring the owners son for good luck and they win with the Clippers pick that had like a 1 in 500 chance of hitting. I won't be surprise if they win it again or maybe New Orleans for losing Paul...

The NBA is a sports/entertainment corporation for-profit.
The next Commissioner, hand-chosen by Attorney Stern, is Adam Silver.
Attorney Silver is Stern 2.0.

That's pretty much the bottom line.
At the end of the day this is a corporation ran by businessmen with the sole purpose of making a PROFIT. Period.
These people do not have a moral obligation to the fans to keep things fair especially when being fair can jeopardize the profit margin.

Stephen A Smith isn't borderline racist, he's 110% full blown racist. From soap boxing for mike brown to get signed in new York bc some "white guy" got promoted to GM of the Knicks to trying to shifting blame of dallas's shocking upset onto Dirk Nowitzki rather than let a " fellow brother" in Avery johnson take the rightful blame as he should, stephen a smith us just a sports version of al sharp ton or Jesse Jackson ever looking to use and exploit the race card for unconventional gains.
Its no wonder he got booted from ESPN radio twice while both counts hosts stayed on and got other time slots of their own while he's yet again working on getting let go a 3rd time

I think it's funny when fans just dismiss bad officiating as incompetence.
This league is not 100% on the level, folks. Have no idea about last night's game -- didn't even watch it -- but nothing would surprise me.

reminds me of one of my favorite and subtle jokes ever:
In the show 30 rock, alec baldwins character (named Jack Donaghy) hired a private investigator to make sure there is no incriminating things from his past. The investigator asks "are there any possible problems I might find with any of your family members?" and alec baldwin says "well I have a brother that used to fix NBA games, but besides that, no."

Shit is rigged no joke
Why do you think Vegas laid out such a big +line on a very popular public team like the Celtics (with Chris Bosh out)?? Pretty obvious the refs were gonna make sure Miami covered in that game
NBA has to be the most corrupt sport with the subjectivity of foul calls and the referees ability to control the game
