Is Beaver-Ball really just for "us"??
I mean, cmon... who really cares about these broads, their skills and who wins this Championship?? Obviously there are a couple fans out there who are passionate for the sport, but I highly doubt it is a money making machine.

NBA winds down, WNBA is just winding up.

So, is the WNBA pretty much to keep us degenerates busy....?

I'm sure it's a huge money maker for the sports betting industry. I've had the same thought as you before, it primarily exists for betting.

It exists because it is subsidized by the NBA. The WNBA has never made a profit as far as I know. It's a Stern thing and he's kept it going despite the fact that it basically has no fans aside from a few thousand lesbians.

Even with the players mostly making 5 figures, it cannot support itself indepedently and needs NBA stadiums, money, etc.

The league is even worse this year, since the Olympics has raided talent from various teams.

The women seem to try every night and there is some good betting opportunities. They stream live every game on WNBA.com for $5 for the year.
