    Paul Pierce under 18.5 points
Third time in a row I'm hunting this bet. Altough it's 2 pts lower than in the first game but I'm still pretty confident it can hit. Iggy is just too good. He locks Pierce like a little mouse and he can barely move around the court
In adition Pierce has problems with knees and is very frustrated. He gets a 3pt shot out of a screen from time to time but that's it. He can't even make his own shot and he doesn't get to the free throw line because there's Iguodala to him up.

while iggy is def in better shape at this point in both of their careers due to age, watch for phantom calls from the refs in favor of pierce. being that he is boston's first and most reliable option in seesaw battles, he may get a ton of free throws... most likely undeserved ones

Well he didn't get them in game 2 when I was watching it. Should get 3 or 4 calls more but he didn't. Otherwise the free throws are what I fear but as I said he isn't that agressive anymore

Pierce (knee) is "ready to go" for Monday's Game 2 against the Sixers, Boston's official site reports.
Spin: Celtics coach Doc Rivers said that of all his injured players Monday. The team has been battling an array of injuries this postseason, but Pierce and the other key players on the team will continue to play through the pain.

No way he scores 20 tonight

how many series has pierce been held under 18.5 throughout the ENTIRE series? yeah that's what i thought, i said over bc i was hoping he wouldn't get the charity stripe shots in game 3 so that he was a lock to get 18.5+ in game 4 but i see that he got his 20 points as usual in a celtics key game

Agree, but Doc was still playing him when +20 and he was in the under.. And Iggy was sitting on the bench because of the blowout. Check the stats and tell me how many pts and his % of shooting did he have when Iguodala was on him. I hope his line goes up to 19.5 or even 20 and expect a better game form the 6ers. Iggy is gona play more and Pierce is staying under..
