How to HEDGE lakers futures series bet for tonight's game??? Help please!!

Long story short I need some help for a strategy to hedge my lakers series bet.

I bet 1000 on lakers series to win at -200. so to win 500.

Any strategy or way I can hedge my bet IF the lakers are going to lose??

Do I bet the farm on Denver tonight to win? Or cover?

Please any help or strategy would be appreciated.

Depends on how much you are willing to lose and how little you are willling to gain. If the latter you could make a small arbitrage by betting Denver ML. You could wait and hedge live if you see things not going your way also.

I'm willing to lose now up to 500 of the bet IF the lakers are going to lose, I'm saying this because I believe they can win still so I'd rather go for more profit n a minimal loss..
